7-11 - Being one of the most unique of all Colocasia leaves, this
amazing plant has five variations of the variegated leaf pattern
depending on the time of year and temperature. The shield pattern is produced during the summer blooming cycle
while the white veining in the leaves occurs in the fall following production of the shield leaves . The young
plants and leaves are an solid green like the regular Esculenta variety
early in season, but as as the summer progresses the white "Y" pattern becomes exceedingly
visible and the variegation oozes into the leaves until the cold
weather. the plants grow 5 - 6+ft and is sure to be one your favorites
