Cousin to the Musa Mysore Banana Plant
Musa "Misi Luki" Dessert Banana - Zones 7 and up. Cold Hardy and Disease Resistant! This is another one of the best banana trees to grow if you want great tasting desert type bananas with not much space needed! The 'trees' only grow to about 10-12 feet tall and bear many hands of creamy WHITE skinned 4" sweet edible fruit each season. The bunches are so uniformed when mature that it almost looks unreal. Being a biennial (as Musa varieties are), these banana plants are known to produce multiple pups once established and will provide you with years of fruiting pleasure. This banana is actually more cold hardy than most coming from the higher regions of Samoa. It has been known to thrive and produce fruit in wide range of climates. So, if you're looking for one that is attractive to the eyes and the taste buds, here ya go! Very tropical addition to your homescape! Being better tasting than the cavendish varieties this banana plant is One of the most Excellent Dessert Bananas available to date!
