FHIA-1 "Goldfinger" Banana - Zones 8-9 - Large fruit, Disease, cold and Wind tolerant! The FHIA series are bananas that come from Honduras breeding program to eliminate Black and Yellow Sigatoka disease. These bananas have a great potential for commercial consumption. Great strong banana flavored and large bananas being produced along with the normal fast growth of bananas, these would make an excellent addition to your garden or fruit tree collection! The pseudostem and base are very strong like the ladyfinger and makes it more wind tolerant than most other varieties. These are in great demand! Don't miss out! Delicious large size fruit!
