One of the goals here at Central Florida Farms is to educate as many about horticulture and the growing concerns of the environment. I have learned plenty over the last 2 years. Basically was forced to be deeply involved with a few governmental projects (It really is true that all things work together for the good to those who believe) that shed much light on what is really going on in the industry, plant care, plant related pests, diseases, water conservation (Storm Water Engineering) and the like. There are some serious issues that should be known by all and I hope to be of that service as much as I can. As time permits, I will continue to place different articles on here to read. It's not just about plants, it really is about life and life more abundantly. That's what we are striving for here. Thank you for visiting our site and we hope for many happy days!

If you are outside the United States of America, you will need to contact your import/agricultural department and get an import permit for the particular plants that you are looking to receive from Central Florida Farms. We are not able to ship outside the USA unless you have your import permit shipped with your plants along with a Phytosanitary Certificate included with your order. So we will need a copy of it prior to shipping. Thank you again for looking and we are looking forward to a growing future at Central Florida Farms!

Rare Palm Seedlings

Very Rare Stone Gate Palm - ©RPS

Rare Stone Gate Palm (Trachycarpus princeps)

Only a very few species of palms originate from the United States. Since I have been placing palms in my collection, I haven't found any that could not be over wintered every year from the cold weather. 2009 was not expected to be as cold as it was for as long as it was, so extra care had to be taken after I realized it really was going to be that cold for that long. The first night, we were not that fortunate. Some made it fine and others will most likely grow back. Many more very interesting varieties will be available soon throughout this coming season. Some will be best suited for climate controlled atriums, some will be able to take weather to at least 11ºF before death. Please see our palm seedling page for regular updates and new additions all season long.

We look forward adding life to your world!

Don't WAIT!

Need a new web host? Paying too much for the one you have? Don't have one but have been looking? Why pay more for less service? This company is the best host and most affordable I have found. Search the web and find out for yourself. Image hosting companies charge more than StartLogic. Even the free ones with option to upgrade to the actual bandwidth you need charge more. I know, I was with one. I had exceeded bandwidth penalties even while I was paying MORE than I am with StartLogic and they banned my images for over 45 days and posted a message about exceeding bandwidth on every photo I had on my site and the internet. Yahoo! charges more than StartLogic. It's a "win-win" situation if your planning on using Google's adsense for blogging or just need a mass storage bin for music, photos and videos.

StartLogic IS the Best Web Hosting Company I have found.

One very nice thing is that your domain is included into the price and they will auto bill you so it does not expire. Get $80.00 marketing credits for Google and Yahoo!, your accurate page stats, unlimited email accounts and even page building. Pretty much anything you can think of, its included!
